Ah foiled again. Zonte’s Footstep represents generations of grape growers who have not made Shiraz from the Barossa. Well, Baron Von Nemesis, the time has come…. all the milk chocolate in the world just won’t do if you want something dark. We scoped the entire Barossa to find this tiny parcel of old vine Shiraz that fits perfectly with our philosophy of people, place and purpose.

Wine Front International Review, Jan 2017

“Shiraz from the northern climes of the Barossa Valley. Lovely red. Hands down. No arguments over this one. It’s juicy and lively, rarely a bad thing, but here the fun is backed by inky, blackberried, redcurrant-y fruit flavour, all infused with coal, toast, tar and chocolate-like notes. It’s hefty, it’s sure-footed, it’s wellbalanced, and from go-to-whoa it feels/tastes impressive.”
