Today's great read has been about some wine myths, a demystifying them. A stand-out to me has been about wine crystals...

AKA tartrates that are formed when potassium (or less likely calcium) and tartaric acid bind together to form crystals. This doesn't mean that the wine is contaminated, rather it has probably been over-chilled and it is perfectly natural to happen.

I encourage you to have a read of the rest of the myths around wine, it's amazing how much you will learn and you thought was right all along!
